Lithium ion batteries and chargers for electric bicycles will be subject to CCC mandatory product certification control
On July 2, 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation (National Standards Commission) issued the mandatory national standard "Safety Technical Specification for Lithium ion Batteries for Electric Bicycles" (G8 43854-2024, hereinafter referred to as the "Technical Specification"), which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and will be officially implemented on November 1, 2025.
